When I smile, I invite
the Holy Spirit into my life.
The Holy Spirit showers me with the grace I need to persevere.
Smiling activates my awareness that the Holy Spirit is always with me.
Smiling generates an expectation in me that the power that I don’t think I have is actually available if I simply trust in God.
Smiling stimulates a new openness in me to better invigorate the gifts of the Holy Spirit… gifts that I know that I have but which need to be invited out of my heart into the open.
Smiling helps me pry open my soul and let the Holy Spirit’s abundant power and might gush in and gush out.
A smile is the universal welcome.
